Robert T. (Bob) Sykes

Robert T. (Bob) Sykes

Joined the Board in 2021. Bob is a veteran of the U.S. Army and continues to meet with veterans as well as Veterans in the Hospice Care of the Berkshires and Hospice of Western and Central Massachusetts where he provides massage therapy.

As a resourceful and caring member of our community, he also works with Volunteers in Medicine in Great Barrington, provides Reiki in the Cancer Infusion Hospital and with Hillcrest Cancer Center. He has also provided services to the Reintegration Program at the House of Corrections in Pittsfield where he worked with Eric Wilder, Goodwill’s former Director of Mission Service.

Prior to his volunteer activities, Bob served as a Special Education teacher in the Pittsfield City Schools.

He has served on the Boards of the Christian Center and Habitat for Humanity. Presently, he serves on the Human Rights Commission.

Bob is a life-long resident of Pittsfield where he lives with his wife Vicky Smith.

By completing the transaction, you agree and understand that: you are making a donation to Goodwill Industries of The Berkshires and Southern Vermont, Inc., a 501(c)(3) Corporation. Your charitable contribution provides the ability for us to continue our work to help community members with barriers to employment through our various training programs and other community services. Your credit card/billing statement will show your donation was made to Goodwill Industries of The Berkshires and Southern Vermont, Inc.

Fees

There are credit card processing fees as well as partner platform fees (if applicable). If you wish to donate through the Service (“Donations”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Donation including, without limitation, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information.
