Brooke's Story
Meet Brooke Griffin
Brooke is a key holder at the Rutland Store and has been with Goodwill for three months.
She absolutely loves her job, especially learning new things and the interactions with her team mates which she describes as genuine. She appreciates the environment, the politeness and smiles she observes on a daily basis.
Her supervisor tells us that Brooke is very detail oriented and a great addition to the Rutland Goodwill staff. Brooke tells us that her supervisor “explains things in an easy to understand manner.” She has learned how to do store openings and closings along with techniques for processing textiles and wares.
In her spare time, Brooke enjoys sewing blankets and pillows and delights in cooking especially cakes, breads and lasagna. She has two cats and a dog named Mildred who she trying to get trained as a service dog. Brooke is also fond of older country music.
For her future at Goodwill, she looks forward to continuing to expand her knowledge and responsibilities and keep growing. She says “I look forward to coming to work every day and considers her job to be a blessing.” We are fortunate to have Brooke on our staff!
